Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the closest and most convenient airport. It’s approximately a 20-minute drive to downtown Charleston and the wedding venue.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! We’ve secured a wedding room block at The Dewberry Hotel in downtown Charleston under “Fagan + Patriarca Wedding.” You’ll find the discount code on the Travel tab under The Dewberry. If you’d prefer other accommodations, we’ve also shared nearby hotel options as well as Airbnb and VRBO rentals, all within easy distance of the venue.

If you’re planning to book an Airbnb or VRBO, we recommend staying in downtown Charleston, ideally near Cannon Green. Neighborhoods like Cannonborough–Elliotborough, Harleston Village, Upper King Street, and Ansonborough are all great options and offer easy access to the venue, restaurants, and weekend festivities. Staying downtown makes it easy to walk or take a quick ride to events while enjoying everything Charleston has to offer.

Transportation won’t be provided, as guests will be staying in various locations throughout downtown Charleston. We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or a Charleston Bike Taxi which makes getting to and from Cannon Green quick and easy.

Yes, there is parking available close to Cannon Green. If you prefer to drive to the venue, let us know and we’ll be happy to reserve a parking spot for you.

For drinks, we recommend Citrus Club, the rooftop bar at The Dewberry, where many of our guests will be staying. It’s a perfect spot for a cocktail with a view, especially around sunset. For dinner, we love Hall’s Chophouse for a classic steakhouse experience and The Darling Oyster Bar for seafood and a fun Charleston atmosphere. For brunch, Millers All Day is a favorite. Holy City Bagels is great for a quick breakfast, and for coffee, we recommend Bad Bunnies Coffee or Island Provisions.

Charleston has so many special places to explore, and we are excited for you to experience them with us. We love strolling along The Battery and White Point Garden, wandering the historic streets near Rainbow Row, and spending time at Waterfront Park by the Pineapple Fountain. If you stroll down Rainbow Row, stop by Carmella's Cafe for gelato or a sweet treat!

August in Charleston is typically warm and summery, with daytime temperatures often in the upper 80s to low 90s. We recommend light attire and staying hydrated. Most of the celebration will be indoors and air-conditioned, with a brief outdoor portion during the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Attire is black-tie optional. Tuxes or suits for the gents, gowns or formal dresses for the ladies. Light fabrics encouraged. Comfort, confidence, and a good dance move required.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in Cannon Green’s beautiful courtyard. Dinner and dancing will follow just steps away in the Trolley Room, which is fully indoors. Everything is conveniently onsite.

Plan to arrive at Cannon Green about 30 minutes before the ceremony so you can enjoy a glass of champagne, listen to some live music, and settle in before the celebration begins!

Absolutely! Cannon Green can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Just be sure to include your needs when completing your RSVP.

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, unless your invitation states otherwise. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy a fun evening with us. Thank you so much for understanding!

Once we say “I do," the celebration begins! We’ll have a cocktail hour in Cannon Green’s courtyard, where you can enjoy refreshing drinks, passed canapés, and time to mingle with friends and family. When it’s time for dinner, we’ll head into the Trolley Room for a seated meal, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of dancing. We can’t wait to eat, drink, and dance the night away with you!
